BOWIE (breaking) GLASS

BOWIE (breaking) GLASS sets David’s songs and voice against the music of Philip Glass in a new symphonic concert production. Schirmer Theatrical developed it with Østre Gasværk Teater in Copenhagen, where the show has its world premiere in spring 2027.

It pairs Bowie’s original recordings with live vocalists, musicians and an orchestra. Their connection goes back to the 1990s, when Glass wrote his “Low” and “Heroes” symphonies from the Berlin albums David made with Brian Eno. Details at BowieBreakingGlass.com.
